Combining several bodywork techniques; soft tissue work (visceral manipulation, myofascial work), deep muscular techniques (neuromuscular therapy, trigger point work), and energy work (shiatsu and acupressure work). With over 19 years of bodywork experience, Lisa has developed a strong belief in listening to the body's innate wisdom.

CrainoSacral Therapy
Focusing on the rhythm of the cerebral spinal fluid and the systems related to the central nervous system. A physiological relaxation response is induced with this gentle technique that is done through the clothes. Helpful in the treatment of headaches, TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome) related problems, lower back injuries, and resolving old/or new trauma to the body.

Bowen/Neurostructural Integration Technique
A very gentle, non-invasive, bodywork technique from Australia's originator, Tom Bowen. Bowen and Neurostructural Technique involve gently "plucking" key ligaments in a specific order. Dealing with the reflexes of the body, Bowen/NST is helpful for a wide range problems and conditions, from asthma to scoliosis. This technique requires two sessions approximately ten days apart, allow 45 to 50 minutes per session.

Ortho-Bionomy™
Ortho-Bionomy was developed by Dr. Arthur Lincoln Pauls, a British osteopath, who wanted to find a way to work with the body which honored the body's inherent wisdom. Ortho-Bionomy is highly effective in working with chronic stress, injuries and pains or problems associated with postural and structural imbalances.

Reconnection and Reconnective Healing™
Is a form of addressing the body's energetic system that was started by Dr. Eric Pearl in 1993. Dr. Pearl ran a highly successful chiropractic practice until he discovered this system of work and today teaches as an internationally recognized Healer. Subtle energy work has been assisting the medical community in the form of Healing Touch, Chi Gong in China's hospitals, and is related to the meridian system in acupuncture.

The science of intuitively assisting clients in cooperation with their primary health care professional in Intuitive Analysis of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual stress reactions.

Archetypal Wheel Assessments
Archetypes are ancient patterns that exist in human consciousness. An assessment journeys with the client's perception of physical, energetic, emotional and spiritual issues, by utilizing the wheel work of Dr. Caroline Myss as described in her book "Sacred Contracts".

Caroline speaks often of the need for women to support each other, not in our wounds but in our growth and healing. A Grace Circle is just that, a place for ongoing sharing of archytpal information for and with each other.

Attendance to the Chart of Origin class a prerequisite. Call to reserve your space.

Cost for this class is $35.00 This fee, minus a small administrative fee, will be donated to a woman and children charity.

Awareness of archetypes dates back at least to the time of Plato and the great Swiss psychologist Carl Jung developed this idea further. For Jung, archetypes comprised psychological patterns derived from historical roles in life, as well as universal events or situations. Along with our individual personal unconscious, which is unique to each of us, Jung asserted, "there exists a second psychic system of a collective, universal, and impersonal nature that is identical in all individuals." This collective unconscious, he believed, was inherited rather than developed, and was composed mainly of archetypes.
